Random Conversation with a Library Patron

Today I had this random conversation with a 20-something guy at the library. Here's how it went down:
Is your name Trisha?

No

What is your name?

Ann-Marie

Do you want to go out sometime?

No, I’m good.

Are you married?

No

Well I’ve just seen you around. Have you seen me before?

Maybe, I see a lot of people all the time.

Well you’re pretty.

Thanks!

I just didn't even really know what to say to him. The conversation was so out of the blue, and I honestly haven't noticed him in here before. I don't even know his name...

What if I just turned down my soul mate??? :)

Post Edit: 3 Things
1. He came back and again asked if my name was Trisha. Again I told him it was Ann-Marie and again he didn't introduce himself. He wasn't bad looking, but maybe not the sharpest tool in the shed.

2. Regardless, the interaction totally made my day and I laughed about it all day long.

3. Should I be worried that my gut reaction was to say no? :)

One more thing...My co-worker Megan went to Panda Express for dinner that night and donated her fortune to me because she thought it was applicable:
Accept the affections offered to you- They are sincere!

He's not your soul mate. Yanos is your soul mate. You need to come to the UK, so I can be right about that.

This is workable. Read up on some Jane Austen and Work. It.

(Unless he's creepy--then, no-go.)

Ha ha! I guess it depends--was he good-looking?

I never get approached with the offers. Sometimes I wonder if I'm missing out. But I don't mind being spared the awkward replies.

I can't help wondering if you were named Trish if he would have found you less attractive or something.

I say if it's meant to work out it will. ...Seeing as how I had a conversation with my husband while we were dating where I essentially asked him to go away (give me some space) but not completely. I'm glad he ignored me. :)

You need to check out "You're In Love Charlie Brown." He says, "Why is it so hard to meet that little red-haired girl?" (or something to that effect). You might have just turned down your Charlie Brown :) Because little red-haired girls are pretty and hard to meet ;)
