Last night I was at work and a lady came up to the side of the desk. I asked her to come around to the front so that I could help her. She then said that she had printouts. As per our policy, I asked her to describe what she had printed. She proceeded to tell me that they were the only printouts that had printed in the last 10 minutes. I explained to her that all of the computers printed to this one computer and I just needed her to tell me what her printouts were. She told me and I counted up the pages. I told her how much she owed and she threw the money at me. I thanked her for paying and then as I was ringing it in the cash register she said, "You need to get some better manners. Because your manners suck!"
I just ignored her as she walked away, but I really wanted to tell her that saying "suck" wasn't really very good manners either!

I love it when people accuse you of being something that THEY are. Last time I checked, throwing money at people was not considered good manners.

I'm sorry honey. I hate when people with attrocious manners act hateful. It sounds like you handled yourself well. I would've made her eat her printouts.
