Bloody Anne Kidd here!
As many of you know the theme for our summer reading program this year is Pirates. For one of the teen activities we have them go on the internet and find out what their pirate name is! I thought that some of you would enjoy this as well!
Find out what your pirate name is and then post it as a comment!

Sword Jugglin' Angelina. That makes no sense whatsoever. But that was the only one I could get because BYU thinks the rest of the links are porn.
My favorite of the choices given:
Privateer Grainne O'Malley the Thieving Toe
sweetness! i'm a toe!
I found my Name and namely description interesting and ironic:
Your pirate name is:
Dread Pirate Rackham
Like the famous Dread Pirate Roberts, you have a keen head for how to make a profit. You have the good fortune of having a good name, since Rackham (pronounced RACKem, not rack-ham) is one of the coolest sounding surnames for a pirate. Arr!
i'm "mad mary flint"
"Every pirate is a little bit crazy. You, though, are more than just a little bit. Like the rock flint, you're hard and sharp. But, also like flint, you're easily chipped, and sparky. Arr!"
great.
I'm "Esmerelda the Bastard."
Em, imagine me endlessly laughing.
Buckthorn Varlet
Just kidding, here's the other one:
You're the pirate everyone else wants to throw in the ocean -- not to get rid of you, you understand; just to get rid of the smell. You have the good fortune of having a good name, since Rackham (pronounced RACKem, not rack-ham) is one of the coolest sounding surnames for a pirate. Arr!
I'm related to Buck! And I promise I shower every day.
Oops, forgot to tell you the name:
Dirty Jenny Rackham
Horse Hung Harry-- it's like it new my nick name was a boys name and wanted to keep with tradition
sorr knew not new
Here are all of mine! I like em all. They all cracked me up!
1.Commodore Mary Cricket the Horny Tongue
2. Pirate Pete The Hideous
3. Captain Bess Kidd
Even though there's no legal rank on a pirate ship, everyone recognizes you're the one in charge. Even though you're not always the traditional swaggering gallant, your steadiness and planning make you a fine, reliable pirate. Arr!
4. "Munchkin" Mary Cutler
5. Keelhaul Mary
My husband would like to believe that my pirate name is Dirty Dan but Captain Grace sounds a lot more moral and clean than Dirty Dan. How about if I just invent my own pirate name by combining the two....I'd like to be Captain Dirty Grace....hmmm, happy husband, virtuous wife! Arrr!!!
I think it knows I'm having trouble with my knee because 2 of mine were Landlubber Bess the Fierce Leg and Jane Long Leg. Very confusing to me. :)
